So, my tomato plants were over 7 feet tall when the first frost hit here. It is really crazy because despite the supports that I put in, they still toppled over again and killed off the green beans and eggplant plants. I don't think I liked these ones anyway... sadly, I let my garden run wild and didn't do much picking after I got burned out on tomatos about mid-July. I have since collected a few tons of green pepper and jalapeno with a handful of tomatos. I never new stuff could grow without water or TLC! Thats what life in the desert is all about!
Soon I'll post pics of Josef in his Halloween gear and maybe the beautiful fall trees. Sorry I haven't written in a while. All our love from Kansas!
